ZEN PLANNER LAUNCHES LATEST INNOVATIVE APP FOR FITNESS BUSINESS OWNERS
DENVER, CO August 16, 2016 – Zen Planner, a comprehensive member management software for gyms, martial arts schools, boxes and fitness studios, released its new mobile application created to enable fitness business owners to take their business to the next level. The highly-anticipated Staff App, for Android and Apple phones, was developed for business owners, managers and instructors who desire to spend less time behind a desk and more time doing what they love.
Zen Planner recognizes that everyday tasks, such as checking members in for class, can be time-consuming but are necessary for business success. The Staff App, which was released to Zen Planner customers for public beta testing last month, streamlines some of the most common daily activities for fitness business owners.
“After gathering feedback from our customers, we focused on building a mobile solution based on what they need most,” says Eric Blackwell, Product Manager at Zen Planner. “In this case, our objective was to provide an easy-to-use tool that simplifies daily tasks for staff members, while offering flexible usability for instructors on-the-go who simply don’t have time to be tied to a desk.”
The App allows staff members to view their daily calendar so they can plan their day around popular classes, seamlessly check members in for class, appointments and events with a single tap, view and resolve issues with members’ accounts such as unpaid bills and unsigned documents and much more. Simplifying this process gives staff members more time to train, build stronger relationships with members and focus on strategic aspects of growing their business.

In addition to the release of the Staff App, Zen Planner has made significant enhancements to its popular Member App, which was released earlier this year. Zen Planner developed this App in an effort to enhance member experience through self-service capabilities, improve engagement among members and increase member accountability. To further achieve these goals, Zen Planner released the ability for owners to post daily workouts in the App, as well as have members track their workout results and comment on and Like other members’ results all within the App.
