As we work our way through the week following Labor Day, we want to share with you a story of the places Team Zen Planner visited last weekend. This idea actually came from one of our Sales team members, Heather, and then as it grew it seemed only right to make it truly Dr. Suess worthy. So in celebration of Labor Day weekend and all the great things it brings, we’d like to present to you our version of ‘Oh the Places We’ll Go.’

Dr. Suess will lead us into the story, and we’ll take it from there.

girl-at-archesCongratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!

You’ll look up and down streets. Look ’em over with care.
About some you will say, “I don’t choose to go there.”
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet,
you’re too smart to go down any not-so-good street.

cheerleader-and-boyfriendTo start this Zen tale is the trip that inspired this blog,
To Moab Heather went, with her sweetie and her dog.
Look at this smile she doesn’t have a single care,
Rockin’ the Zen Planner hat as the wind blows her hair.

Next up is a Seminole, a bit farther from home.
To the FSU game in Texas, is where Shilo did roam.
It was hot, loud and crowded, packed with tons of cowboys
But her team left with a win, so the trip she enjoyed.

And speaking of ball games, let us tell you bout’ Layne
She was rooting for the Giants at a Rockies’ home game!jeffs-family
Oh dear! Doesn’t that silly girl have any shame?

A family bike ride is the next tall tale up,
Jeff said “hop in,” as he pulled up the truck.
Waterton Canyon’s so beautiful, and that’s where they took their ride,
On a bike when he’s pedaling, we see our CEO’s competitive side.
Sweet Megan Moo and Mom took a girl’s trip alone,
In this photo she sits in her ‘big people’ throne.
At Copper Mountain they ran, and they laughed, and they played,
If it weren’t for Dad and bro at home I’m sure Mom would have stayed.

And speaking of stay, Tracy’s family they did,
At their home in the mountains with some land off the grid.
They snoozed in a hammock, roasted marshmallows by the fire,
Oh her stay-cation sounds so amazing, let’s go there when we retire.girl-at-lake

Alan
and his girls went to play in sand,
It got stuck in their ears, between their toes and on their hands.
Great Sand Dunes National Park is where they went,
They camped all weekend and slept in a big old tent.

And now it is time, I must let you know,
So many of our team, a hiking they did go.
Living in this great state, with many wonderful trails,
When it comes to our team, outdoor stuff prevails.

We have Loki and Chris, who climbed Herman’s Gulch.zenplanner-banner

And Hannah and Josh, Long’s Peak and Lake Chasm they did boast.

But when it comes to going big our Tech Team is tops,
They gathered up the crew and flew out of the shop.
Camaraderie and friendship this group has in spades,
They hiked up Mt. Democrat with some big, loud hoorays!

Our Zen Planner story is coming to an end,
So here’s to Kina traveling for her friend.
She and Team Unbroken journeyed a little bit fargroup-wearing-tanktops
To compete in an event benefiting pal, Kevin Ogar.

So if you’ve stayed with us to the end of the tale,
We wish you a happy Autumn as the fall season we hail.
Labor day will return, but first we need the snow,
See you later, sayonara, Oh the Places We’ll Go!
