An Introduction from Aldor

It’s an honor to step into the role of President of Boutique at Daxko—a role that allows me to combine decades of experience in tech with a lifelong passion for fitness and community. I’ll be leading Zen Planner and SugarWOD. It’s an exciting new chapter, for both myself and the brands I now have the privilege of guiding.
This role is more than a professional milestone. It’s deeply personal. I’ve spent my career in technology and growth-focused businesses, but I’ve also spent over a decade training in jiu-jitsu. I’ve coached kids, trained alongside world champions, and opened the gym before sunrise more times than I can count.
That experience has shaped how I lead. I understand the discipline and connection it takes to build a fitness community—and the operational chaos that can come with it.
What’s Next for Zen Planner and SugarWOD
Zen Planner and SugarWOD have long supported boutique fitness businesses across the globe. But I’ll be candid: we can do better.
We’re committed to simplifying our products, improving support, and creating a seamless experience for you and your team. That work is already underway.
Some recent and upcoming improvements include:
- Zen Planner Engage AI, which helps automate follow-ups and convert leads more effectively
- A refreshed, more intuitive interface
- Enhanced onboarding tools for faster setup
Our goal is to make sure the software works the way you do—so you can spend less time on admin and more time building relationships and growing your business.
This Is About More Than Software
I believe software should be an enabler, not a burden. Whether you run a martial arts academy, a CrossFit affiliate, or a strength and conditioning studio, your tools should keep pace with your day-to-day needs—and evolve alongside your business.
That’s why we’re not just investing in product—we’re investing in you. That includes deeper customer listening, more responsive support, and a commitment to showing up where you are.
Progress, Not Perfection
One lesson jiu-jitsu has taught me: progress doesn’t come from flash—it comes from consistency.
You show up. You do the work. You learn and adapt. That’s the mindset we’re bringing to Zen Planner and SugarWOD.
I’m honored to be part of this community, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
Progress in business—like in jiu-jitsu—comes from consistent effort, not shortcuts. I’m excited to listen, learn, and lead as we build the future of boutique fitness together.
