Zen Planner just got an upgrade

Daxko Zen Planner navigation has been updated to help gym and martial arts studio owners spend less time searching for tools and more time supporting their members.

Running a gym or martial arts studio should be about your members, not your computer screen. That’s why we’ve refreshed Daxko Zen Planner’s navigation and introduced Favorites—a new way for Admins and Staff to star the pages they use most. 

This recent update makes DaxkoZen Planner simpler, faster, and more personal for you and your team—and it’s just the beginning. 

With this Daxko Zen Planner navigation update, teams can move through daily workflows with fewer clicks and less friction.

What’s new in Daxko Zen Planner navigation

1. Modern Navigation

Daxko Zen Planner’s updated side menu is easier to scan and use. All your tools are still right where you expect them, but now in a design that gets you there faster.

The modern Daxko Zen Planner navigation layout improves visibility across core tools, helping staff quickly find what they need without changing how they already work. 

2. Zen Planner’s Favorites Dropdown

With Favorites, you can customize your Zen Planner experience. Star the pages you use every day—like Billing, Attendance, and Reports—and open them instantly from the new dropdown at the top of your screen.

• Click the star icon on a page to add it to Favorites
• Rename or remove Favorites anytime
• Zen Planner Favorites will appear in the order you add them, with the newest at the top.

Favorites are designed to complement Daxko Zen Planner navigation by giving Admins and Staff faster access to the pages they rely on most. 

3. Unlimited Favorites

No need to choose—Zen Planner Favorites let you star as many pages as you want. If your list grows, the dropdown will scroll so everything stays easy to find.

Unlimited Favorites allow teams to tailor Zen Planner navigation to their role and responsibilities without restrictions.

Who Daxko Zen Planner Favorites are for

Favorites are available to admins and staff. Coaches and other assigned roles won’t see the option to star pages in this release.

This ensures Zen Planner navigation stays focused and role-appropriate, while still offering flexibility to those managing daily operations.

What’s not included in this release

To set clear expectations:

• Calendar, Workouts, and Retail pages cannot be favorited in this release
• Favorites work at the page level only—not for individual items within a section (for example, a single report inside Attendance)
• Manual reordering isn’t available yet

These limitations help maintain consistent Daxko Zen Planner navigation behavior while future enhancements are in development.
