Every conference or summit is a great chance to meet our customers face-to-face. The Martial Arts SuperShow gives us that opportunity but is an event in it’s own category. It is a three-day whirlwind of speakers, martial arts celebrities, crowded vendor booths and of course training sessions in various martial arts. Since this was the first event experience for many of the Zen Planner team members attending, I wanted to share some of their highlights.

For a martial arts fan there’s nothing better than being surrounded by industry leaders and legends of the game. It’s great getting to experience that while representing a company and brand I believe in. I found myself in a constant state of pride – being an ambassador for a company helping small business owners– hearing from current customers whose businesses turned around after incorporating Zen Planner.

My favorite part was goofing around with our clients. As an Onboarding Coach, my role focuses on teaching school owners how to use Zen Planner. One of my favorite clients, Aim High Foundation, was an exhibitor sharing the showroom floor with Zen Planner. We shared many jests and jokes and were able to learn about each other even more so than I was able to do within our onboarding sessions.

The biggest highlight of my MA SuperShow experience was training with Casey Halstead and his students at 10th Planet Las Vegas. Casey was so welcoming and an amazing host for our crew. On top of that, they packed the house with talented jiu-jitsu fighters and the training was top notch. Casey kept the vibe very fun as well making sure everyone was safe, happy and leaving with a smile on their face. I know I was grinning ear to ear.

After spending almost two years on the Zen Planner Support team, it was nice to interact face-to-face with current clients that I have been communicating with over phone and email. Aside from focusing on support questions in their database, I was able to get to know them on a more personal level. It was fun to see them in their element and seeing how passionate they are about martial arts and their business.

This year was my fourth consecutive Martial Arts SuperShow. I am lucky to share the same experiences as my team each year. This year my highlight is different in that it involves looking back to previous years. The first time I attended the SuperShow, a large number school owners asked who we were and what Zen Planner did. This year, I couldn’t count how many of our customers thanked us, shared success stories and asked about other team members by name. Everyone at Zen Planner works hard each day to ensure school owners can spend less time worrying about their business and more time changing the lives of their students. Seeing that work shine through in a growing number of faces each year makes me proud to be part of this team.
