I’ll admit: I had zero interest in CrossFit®. I had the opposite of interest – I actively refused to try it. I didn’t know why anyone would choose to do burpees, and the Olympic lifting intimidated me. Erika’s assurance that “people like us” belonged to this box made me think: it’s worth a shot.
We were lucky enough to start with Zen Planner from the day we opened, so thankfully we didn’t have to experience running a gym without them. With that said, we have had several obstacles arise throughout our four-plus years of business that Zen Planner has been critical in helping us solve.
Disability affects every group of people on the planet – there are people with physical and intellectual disabilities in every country, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, religion and gender – and the community of people with disabilities is vast; yet they are almost completely left behind when it comes to health and wellness.
